For windows 8 and 10- Press Windows+R and Run tab will pop up.

  • It will open ‘system configuration utility’. 
  • Select the option of “Selective startup” and then clear the Load startups object. 
  • Click OK to save these changes. 
  • Restart your system and then open QuickBooks and get the most current tax table. 
  • Again, follow the first 4 steps to go back to “system configuration utility”, if you have downloaded the current tax table. 
  • Select the checkbox of ‘Normal startup’ and press OK. 
  • Again restart your system. 

Solution 5:

Manually installing the updates. 

  • First, go to “update QuickBooks to the latest release” and make sure that the product is selected.
  • Now, then click on ‘change option’ and then, go to QuickBooks product’.
  • Select the ‘update options’ and save it wherever you want it to save.
  • Go to ‘save options’ and locate the file which was downloaded. 
  • Install it by making a double clicking on it. 
  • Restart the windows, once the installation is done.
