This error can be fixed by the below mentioned method:

Logging out from Administrator login

  • First, ensure that QuickBooks is running as Administrator.
  • Make a right click on the QuickBooks icon.
  • Next, you have to click on properties.
  • Then, hover to the compatibility tab.
  • Deselect the option of ‘Run this program as Administrator’.
  • If the tab of ‘Run this program as Administrator’ is now greyed out, then select the option of ‘Show settings for all users’.
  • Then you have to click on OK.
  • Now exit from  this window and restart QuickBooks.

Setting up secure webmail:

  • First, reach to the Edit menu and then select Preferences.
  • Next select the option of ‘send forms’.
  • Now you have to select Webmail and click on Add.
  • From the drop down list choose your provider and then enter your email address.
  • Make sure to check mark the ‘Use Enhanced Security’ box and then click on OK.
  • Sign into your QuickBooks account, when prompted.
  • There will be a login display from your webmail provider, sign into it and provide QuickBooks its access.

Sending email by upgrading file:

  • First go to QuickBooks and select preferences.
  • Then you have to click on the email icon in it.
  • Select custom from sending email using section.
  • Now, click on + button.
  • Now, you have to add an account name and also add the setting from your email provider.
  • Once this setup is done, you will see the email address listed in the field of your message, choose an account from here. 
  • You must now be able to send the email. 

By clean install of QuickBooks.

  • This error can also be fixed by doing a clean install of QuickBooks. 
  • This will remove and reinstall the default settings. 
  • Make sure to create a backup of your company file, before doing Clean install.
